Narragansett Bay Service Desk

Hours of Operation

The Narragansett Bay Information Technology department hours of operation for its service desk are now in effect:

Regular business hours coverage:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Extended hours coverage:

  • Monday - Friday: 4:30 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Other hours and holiday coverage:

  • Inquiries will be handled based on need and priority

It is our goal to always answer your call during regular business hours. In the event we cannot immediately respond, we will return your message within one hour. When calling during extended hours, your detailed voice message or e-mail will be reviewed by an on-call support engineer. Urgent matters will be handled immediately; non-urgent issues may be handled within the first hour of the next business day.

Please expect the following service times:

  • Urgent, high priority issues: Expect an update at least once every hour during the event and again at closure
  • Standard, medium priority issues: Expect an update at least once every 48 hours and again at closure

Underwriting, policy services, or billing related matters received by the Service Desk will be forwarded to the appropriate handler for the fastest time service possible.

As a reminder, losses may be reported 24 hours a day by calling 800-343-3375 and selecting option 2.

Note: Narragansett Bay monitors and supports all systems 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event that a critical system is unavailable, an on-call support engineer will receive notification immediately and will resolve the issue in the fastest method possible.
